Missions Partnerships
Asquith Church of Christ engages with ministries both locally and internationally.
As part of our core values, we aim to support missionaries from our local context and give to organisations who
further the work of the Gospel around the world. We support:
Josh and Michelle Bowen - SIMAid, Indonesia
Josh and Shell Bowen are community development workers taking a long-term approach to strengthen marginalised communities in West Timor, Indonesia. They moved to West Timor in 2006, soon after getting married. Josh took on a contract with Opportunity International’s local partner to manage their Enterprise Development Services division. After completing this contract, Josh worked for a Dutch-based foundation and an AusAID funded livelihoods project.
Q and A V - Africa
Q and A are ministering in a spiritually needy country in Africa. The family has set up and enjoy engaging with the local community, as well as those seeking asylum from neighbouring countries. Q, A and their children are grateful to be a part of God’s mission in this area.
We also partner with a number of Christian organisations, including:
Mercy Ships, Gideons International, GMP, Christians Against Poverty, Open Doors, Jews for Jesus and HADCEA.
